We are opening a new Social Media Centre in Charlestown and Lower Kersal in Salford. We require a person who can help develop the centre, support the development of locally produced community content through the development of community reporters and can work with our partners in FE and HE and the BBC to increase content production in the local area. We require someone who has good project management skills, has experience of developing and producing community media with individuals and groups, is a creative and imaginative thinker and can see the potential of Social Media

We are seeking someone who can work with local communities to develop rich media content and can motivate people to participate in our community reporters program. The candidiates should have a background in engaging with excluded communities. demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, especially in the area of community media, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
